ALFI PE III closes at €150 mln hard cap with 88% investor re-up
ALFI PE III Fund, managed by Slovenia's private equity fund manager ALFI PE, has completed its final closing, reaching the €150 million hard cap.
In a LinkedIn post on Tuesday, ALFI PE said that 88% of its investors have reinvested in ALFI PE III, and the aggregate value of their commitments has increased by 42%.
ALFI PE III Fund completed first closing with €110 million raised in August last year, attracting over 35 investors, including the European Investment Fund (EIF) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
ALFI PE III Fund was launched to finance the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises and mid-caps based or doing business predominantly in Slovenia amd Croatia, but also in Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria.
The fund, which builds upon previous ALFI PE and ALFI PE Growth funds, has invested in Croatia's private hospital St. Catherine Specialty Hospital, according to ALFI PE website.
ALFI PE III Fund targets equity investments of €8 million to €15 million, with an investment horizon of five to seven years.
